General Policies
- Be nice. Be kind and show respect to each other, volunteers, other trail users.
- Leave no trace. Absolutely no littering. Our events are cupless, carry your own water containers to minimize waste. Pack it in, pack it out.
Race Rules

- Stay on the course. Don't cut switchbacks and stay on the course at all times. In the event you lose the course, you must backtrack to get back onto the official race course.
- Please respect the time cutoffs. You must be leaving the aid station by each cut off time.
- If you drop out of the race, it is paramount that you notify a race official - either an aid station captain or the race director at the finish line.
- No drop bags, no additional aid (self supported or from other supporters) outside of aid stations.
- Sorry, no racing with your dogs.
- No early or late starts.
- Mandatory kit items for the 50k will be emailed prior to the event dependent on the weather. This will definitely include a hydration source of at least 20 oz (bottles, pack, etc), a rain shell, and it is strongly recommended that you carry a cell phone for emergencies.

Race Registration / Cancellation
Registration:
Online registration through UltraSignup is open through two days prior to the event.
Race entry is restricted to ages 18 and over. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Runner cancellation:
We understand that injuries, illnesses, and other life circumstances get in the way of plans and that pre-registering for an event is a risk. Unfortunately in our first year of hosting events, we are not offering any refunds, deferrals, transfers, or race credits at this time. In the event that the race gets close to capacity, we will revisit this policy.
Event Cancellation:
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to extreme weather, flooding, storm damage, fire, illness outbreak, or some other unforeseeable event that makes the race unsafe or in violation of our insurance policy or permitting conditions. Credits or partial refunds will be determined in the event of a required cancellation.
We will do our best to work with the US Forest Service to reschedule if a cancellation is required and be sure to communicate effectively with you.
